I am honored to be a little part of your class!

How true that Pigeon is intense both physically and emotionally. It always elicits an ahhhhhhh.... from me. I was so sad for awhile when after I had knee surgery, this pose was just not a reality. But happily we have reconnected ;)

I love your teacher's saying ”open the hips, open the heart” Such an interesting, intertwined connection between our bodies and our feelings.

Thank you for this...I always get wonderful ideas on exploring certain poses from you. Ideas that I get to take to class as my little nod to Charlotte ;-)

Pigeon is part of my practice...as a matter of fact, the only times I have ever become overwhelmed by emotion during yoga have been during this pose (folding forward). Not sadness necessarily, just a supreme release...a letting go.

My yoga teacher has always said during this pose..."open the hips, open the heart".

This I believe.
