Thai Yoga Massage Therapy, Integrative Wellness & Ayurvedic Lifestyle Balancing

by Jeanette Barrie on December 25, 2008

Recently Anne-Marie Hardie wrote about me with my teacher Kam Thye Chow from Montreal Canada. I feel very fortunate to be listed in the article right next to Kam Thye in YogaFlavoredLife.com on November 30, 2008: Thai Yoga Massage: The Yoga of Dreams

I have a practice in Boulder, Colorado as an Integrative Wellness Counselor & Thai Yoga Massage Therapist. I have studied Ayurveda with Dr. Vasant Lad in Albuquerque, NM and Kam Thye Chow in Montreal Canada. I have been practicing Ayurveda & Lifestyle Balancing for 8 years as an Integrative Wellness Counselor. Lotus Palm also teaches introductory classes in Ayurveda & Thai Yoga Massage.

My teacher Kam Thye Chow is also a survivor of an incredible near Death/Life experience. Thai Massage and the Community it draws is very beneficial to Health & Wellness of Mind, Body & Spirit. Visit Montreal & spend time with Kam & the wonderful family of Lotus Palm. We are very fortunate to still have Kam Thye Chow teaching again as strong as ever. He is highly respected teacher of Thai Yoga Massage &a Master of Great Excellence! I believe his school Lotus Palm in Montreal is the best in North America. Thank You Anne-Marie!

Incidently, my Mother almost named me Anne-Marie. She was French/Canadian, grew up near Montreal and so she named me Jeanette just like her best childhood friend.

Merci M’amie,
Namaste,

It made its way to Thailand, where the Ayurvedic techniques and principles gradually became influenced by traditional Chinese medicine.

Interesting. I regularly go to salons for a massage. I’ve never heard about Thai Yoga massage. I will surely try this one too. Thanks for the information.

Ayurveda is such a special and effective practice/science. Even following one of the principles of this ancient art can bring about positive changes in your life. Personally I implement eating only two meals daily…the 1st between 8 – 12:00 pm as the sun is gaining strength, and the last meal before sundown around 5:30. I’ve felt my energy level really increase a lot.

Karen – I haven’t tried Thai yoga massage but I think it would be amazing. Let me know if you do!

Thanks for your comments jacksonville massage – very interesting idea. Intuitively, it makes sense to eat in accordance with the natural cycle of the day.
