An Intention Vinyasa

Try this Intention Vinyasa (from Nancy Gerstein’s book –  Guiding Yoga’s Light) to help you set an intention for your yoga practice or your day.

Focus on synchronizing your breath with movement. Let an intention come to you organically. It may be a word or a phrase. Bring your awareness back to your intention throughout your practice and let it guide your actions throughout your day.

The intention vinyasa goes like this:

  1. Child’s Pose (Inhale, Exhale)
  2. Downward Dog (Inhale)
  3. Upward Dog (Exhale)
  4. Child’s Pose (Inhale, Exhale)
